Quarter Log Cabin Quilt
This is a modern take on the traditional log cabin quilt, using the quarter log cabin block. The quilt features diagonal rows in shades of blue, green, purple, and aqua, using batik fabrics. The overall effect evokes the gentle movement of the ocean at the last light of sunset.
The quilting is an allover “water” design with white thread that creates movement and complements the quilt design.
The quilt back features blue and purple batik fabric with hints of aqua and allover waves. The quilt is bound with the same fabric that is used on the back.
All fabric is 100% high quality quilting cotton. The batting is an 80/20 cotton and polyester blend for extra softness and crease resistance.
Dimensions: 58 × 59 inches
This quilt was made and is stored in a clean smoke free environment. I do have a cat, but limit her contact with quilts made for sale.
